Man Pranks Ex-Girlfriend by Sending Food Orders to Her Door

Who’s going to turn down free food? An unknown man believed to be an ex-boyfriend placed over 50 food orders at multiple restaurants in Turkey and sent them to the same address.

The incident took place on an evening in April 2024 when over two dozen couriers showed up in front of an apartment building on Çimen Street, in Izmir’s Balçova district, Turkey. Apparently, the person took advantage of the Turkish food delivery app Yemeksepeti‘s cash-on-delivery option to place several orders under fake names and send them all to the same address.

The unknown prankster used a fake number, which caused many of the restaurants to try calling it for order confirmation. Many didn’t follow suit and over 50 orders ended up at the same address at around the same time, with multiple delivery drivers waiting in front of the exact same building to collect their payment.

None of the restaurants decided to file a complaint with the police so no one has been able to find the suspect. Although it has yet to be confirmed that the man is a scorned ex-boyfriend, many reports have eluded to such and it seems to be the general consensus online.
